Well, the server is up. I’ll post some pictures I made of it later. Most of the services are running now. I’m busy setting up mail now. I’ve got exim4 running and I’ll probably using dovecot for imap and pop3.

I’ve had no difficulties setting things up. It just was a lot of work. I had to configure the server, pick an OS, install that OS, put it in the rack, move the web sites, databases and the bot. I even setup a maven repository with artifactory because I didn’t want to run the one at home anymore.

The server was put in the data center this Tuesday and I must say that all in all things went quite fast.

I did make a silly mistake and ended up having to go to the data center at 11pm on Tuesday evening. Good thing it’s open 24/7.
