Taxi to the dark side was shown on tv here last night (was it ever broadcast in the US?) I had not heard of the documentary before seeing the teaser earlier in the evening and was interested to see it. It’s interesting to see how despite Cheney going on tv and literally saying they were going to use methods that shouldn’t be discussed or questioned, only some lower personnel was charged for torture. This documentary makes clear what I have thought all along. For the current US administration torture is just another way of getting information from people. False information at that, because people who are tortured will admit to just about anything.
